In the first ever CAMO sanctioned Bantamweight tournament, Farren Romero took on a very tough Aiko Ewing. The fight was the main event for Spar Star MMA “Fight Night Fright Night”, and for good reason. In a back and forth battle, both ladies had moments of brilliance. However Romero proved to be too big for Ewing, who eventually succumbed to a choke late in the third round of their bantamweight scrap.
With the win Romero moves on to fight Danielle Mack in November for the inaugural Spar Star MMA Bantamweight Title. The fight is certain to be an amazing bout between two very talented fighters.
